The Lotus Centre isn’t a large organisation, with a marketing department or a highly paid director. Instead it is humble organisation that 100% child focused. Lotus' staff, infrastructure and costs are all concentrated on helping the children, not raising funds, running advertising campaigns or renting an office in other countries. By doing this, the Lotus Centre feels that it keeps its integrity. It is this integrity that gives our past donators faith in our organization.
Some of our valuable supporters are: Australian Volunteers International (AVI), who manages one Lotus account in Australia; AMURT America manages a child sponsorship program and gifts program; AMURT Italy fundraises within Italy; and James Prudhomme donates his time and skills, helping with our web and online donations. Their kind donations of time and resources make it possible for you to help out the Lotus Centre also. Their kindness also means that your donation will not be swallowed up by commissions and marketing budgets, but will go towards the children and needy families that Lotus helps. Please note that sending packages to the centre is not the best way for you to help. Shipping costs to Mongolia are excessively high and the centre is often charged large sums to retrieve the packages from customs. Most goods in Mongolia are substantially cheaper than in the developed world, your monetary donations can go much further.
Small packages packed with the high-value goods listed on the home page are appreciated. Please send them directly to the centre, at the address listed below. Please ensure it is addressed to Didi A. Kalika and not Lotus Children's Centre.
