Lotus Craft Shop

Some of the teenage girls have been training to produce different craft products. Currently, they are producing patchwork bags and pillowcases.

Bags are for sale for $12. Pillowcases are $12 each, or a set of four for $38.

Prices include postage. All purchases come with a thank you card made by one of the children. All profits go towards training to help our teenage girls become independent, self-sufficient adults.

If you would like to purchase a Lotus craft product, please write to us at: lotuschild@magicnet.mn
Thank you for your support!

News from Lotus

Life has been busy at the Lotus Centre these days.

The children have recently returned from summer-camp and have now started school.
We spent all summer renovating our new school building.

We have three new babies at the Lotus Baby house, and our oldest babies (almost three) have now started kindergarten. We have recently completed the construction of a new well in the children?s yard. We no longer have to carry water during the hot summers or freezing winters. Thank you to the Rotary Club for their support of the well project.

The Lotus Centre has now extended its activities to a smaller Mongolian city, Erdenet, which until now did not have facilities for caring for street children.

And last but not least, Odnoo (Odonchimeg) would like to say hello to her sponsor! If you are interested in sponsoring a child, please visit the ?Asia? page at www.amurt.net for more information.
